Bellevue Piano Studio, located in downtown
Bellevue, WA, is currently accepting prospective piano students of all
levels. There is no age limit in learning the piano although an earlier start
is beneficial. By guiding young children to experience
a fun atmosphere in music, children will have a greater
success in level of achievement. Students at an advanced level need a critical, yet sensitive teacher
for their musical growth. By preparing grade exams and festivals, students
achieve set goals and become more accomplished. Advanced students get an
intense lesson period and practice hours.

[The Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program]
The
carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement
Program
is the new name for the National Music Certificate
Program. As
a graduate, earning both diplomas for Piano Performance
and Piano Teacher from The Royal Conservatory of Music
in Toronto, Canada, I welcome interested students to participate
in the RCM programs to enhance their piano curriculum.
It is not mandatory as students can always
bring up their own repertoires to study. The RCM
program boasts a strong fundamental for growing musicians
benefiting numerous students around the world.

[Events]
There
are annual concerts, small group concerts and festivals
for students to participate. Students may perform in
masterclasses by renowned artisits
with recommendation. All of these opportunities
enrich the musical insights and allow students to join
and learn from other students.
[Pianos]
We
recommend that you own (or rent) your own piano.
An upright piano is fine for the most, digital
piano will do the job for beginners: for advanced students,
we recommend a grand piano because
of its heavier action and other features required to
outstand the senior repertoires. You should tune your
piano regularly at least once a year, if not twice.
We provide trustworthy tuners and they will give
you the best care for your piano. If you need to
purchase a new piano, we would be happy to advise you
about different manufacturers and pianos.
[Books
and Records]
Students
will study piano repertoires according to their level
of achievement together with relevant technical exercise
books. In addition, various master pieces chosen
carefully by the instructor become the standard as
well. For beginners, there are some major method
books to choose from: Alfred, Hal Leonard, Bastien,
etc..
Records
are available with the books at purchase.
